How to choose the heating source

Pellets or wood? Ventilated, ducted, or thermo stove? We help you choose your next heating solution.

Ventilated pellet stoves use a fan to circulate hot air, making them ideal for heating a single room. Ducted pellet stoves are designed to heat multiple rooms, making them ideal for medium to large-sized homes. Ducted stoves work in the same way as forced-air stoves, but thanks to heat distribution pipes, they diffuse hot air also into the rooms next to the one where the stove is installed. Lastly, pellet thermos-stoves, (also named pellet boilers) function as a complete central heating system. They connect directly to your home's plumbing to provide hot water for your radiators and underfloor heating. Some models are equipped with a special kit to also produce domestic hot water.

First of all, evaluate how many rooms of the house you want to heat, or if you need a thermo-stove to heat the water for the radiators. This will let you choose between ventilated, ducted or thermo pellet stoves. If you want to renovate an existing fireplace you can opt for a pellet insert. If you are a fan of traditional fire, you will also find a section dedicated to wood-fired products in our catalogue. Once you know which type of stove you need, the next step is to determine the right power output (in kilowatts or kW) to heat your home effectively. A certified installer or any of our authorised dealers can calculate the exact requirements for you during an on-site consultation.

To find out how much one of our products costs you can contact the dealer closest to you and ask for information. The website does not list the prices of the stoves because the cost of the product is only a part of the final estimate. The best way to get a transparent and realistic estimate of your costs is to contact a dealer, who will provide you not only with the exact price of the stove but also with a personalised, no-obligation quote, including installation and on-site consultation costs.

Cadel does not have an online sales channel. However, there are some sites that offer our products, but they are not always authorised dealers. We recommend that you always carefully research the seller and the stove installation instructions; please remember that the installation be performed by a qualified professional. If you decide to buy online, make sure the seller can offer you installation and certification services in addition to the product.
